Georgetown-Howard Center for Medical Humanities and Health Justice (MHHJ)

Dr. Greene, as a dedicated community fellow, implemented engaging community activations that equipped individuals with vital resources. Through cultural arts and meaningful discussions, these initiatives fostered a stronger community by fortifying both minds and bodies.

National Folklife Network

As a DC Community Voice, Dr. Greene collaborated with the Go Go Museum and Don't Mute DC to archive and advocate for go-go music, dance, and culture. Her work was part of a broader initiative by the National Endowment for Arts, which aimed to enhance cultural equity across the U.S. She travelled with fellow DC Community advocates to Bahia, Brazil for cross cultural exchange.

National Community Reinvestment Coalition

As a fellow, Dr. Greene explored the intersection of environmental justice and economic equity to inform community development strategies supporting small business founders. External assessments, client surveys, focus groups, and discovery calls conducted for the Washington Area Community Investment Fund (WACIF) informed the research.

Traditional Arts DC

Dr. Greene collaborated with the Smithsonian Center for Folklife and Cultural Heritage to conduct cultural mapping focused on the arts and Black dance in Washington, DC. The research produced cultural mapping and insights to shape equitable policy in arts management.
